Thank you all friends who have donated for our cause. Now the children we have helped can live and experience all that warmth that childhood and youth have to offer.

Greatly concerned I write these words as I have been told that you, dearest friend of mine, are not in good health. Being an optimist I hope that your second operation will be successful like the first one and that with God’s help you will be well again. I hope God Almighty will help a great man with a great soul – that is what you are, Mr Kurt.

I hope God will help you like you helped so many others in their difficult times. Your warm hand caressed me, little Ardita from little Kosova, and my brother Petrit too.

You made me understand what humanism is and you made me comprehend why Mother Teresa is called mother all over the world while in my thoughts I was looking for my father’s face in the flames of war. You offered me his warmth. You helped two children back to life. You did this and your country which I respect highly.

I have told my husband Ilir of your humanism. Ilir studies medicine, humanitarian science. I am going to tell my daughters when they grow up, Alda 2 years old and Valeza 4 months old. Myself, I teach mathematics and shall educate my pupils in accordance with your humanism and help that you gave me and others. I learnt from you during my one-year work with you.

About you and your work I was informed by Mrs Lire to whom I hereby want to say “thank you”. Likewise I say “thank you” to beautiful Linda and I thank her for the present I got.

Together with my family we give our kindest regards. So does Petrit who has grown up and who hopes to be accepted for a place at the faculty, physical education.
